After upgrading to the GE PFQ83HSSWWW front‑load washer, I couldn’t be more impressed. So far this washer/ dryer combo has met or exceeded our expectations A bit noisy but acceptable.

This unit is difficult for older folks with little knowledge of AI and computers to get adjusted to. We have been using the normal cycle for wash, then press hot for water temp, which is fine but add extra dry and the time goes backward. Instructions say wash should be about 55 minutes. Then the clock says 2 hours and 15 minutes which would be the dry cycle and when pressing the extra dry the clock goes backward instead of adding on time. We may at some point figure it out.

Overall very satisfied

I like all the features of this appliance except how wrinkled the clothes are after drying. I do like the feature to dewrinkle if I forget to take out or dont hear alarm.

Superb combo heat pump washer dryer

Excellent energy star heat pump washer dryer. This reduces emissions and saves a fortune, all while doing an excellent job on our laundry.

Thought it was a good idea at the time!

I have buyer's remorse! I didn't consider that I can only do one load at a time - average 1 hour & 1/2. When you're working full time, yes, you can run it while you're at work. However, when you get home, the clothes/towels/bedding are still damp. Even when you add extra time. I have never had to iron clothes this much in a very long time. Everything is wrinkled. It just takes too much time to do laundry anymore - and I don't have that much time with a 3 year old in the house. My first one leaked all over the floor - the second one, I haven't had any problems with that, thank goodness.
