Great dryer so far very easy to convert the door to a left-hand swing very spacious inside for clothes.

cracked drum a little after a year

I truly wish I could give 0/5 stars. I am hugely disappointed in GE, as I had purposefully chosen to buy a GE dryer based on prior experiences with quality GE products. After about a year and a half of moderate household use, the drum on this dryer cracked to an unbelievably degree, with numerous sharp edges very close to the door of the dryer, exposing the machinery of the dryer underneath (which is a hazard and is dangerous). I wish I could attach the image of what the defect looks like. Based on the fact that there have been so many negative reviews on the drum part of this unit (and that so many people are searching to replace the drum of this unit), I can tell that this is an intrinsic flaw of the actual product/drum itself. Like many others, the unit is outside of the warranty period and GE offers nothing unless I want to spend hundreds of dollars on a replacement drum or to replace the entire unit (which should not be the case as dryers, especially GE dryers, are supposed to last >5 years, especially given the price!). I think it's absurd for the dryer to not last barely outside the 1-year warranty period, as evidenced by such a large defect--I think that is very telling of change in quality of GE appliances. Like another person had mentioned, please avoid this model (I unfortunately still see the unit on the market at similar pricing) unless you want an overpriced appliance with cheap internals. I am so, very, very disappointed in GE, as I was used to prior good-quality products from this company. This will be my last GE appliance purchase.

Huuuuuge capacity!

Huge upgrade from our old Affinity pair, the capacity is enormous! Super quiet, great value. Only complaint is that the outer door is soft plastic that scratches very easily.

So far I love it

We received our dryer 10 days ago. So far it’s quite drys quickly and I can fit quite a bit into it. We shall see further down the road.

Poor features, no sensor drying setting.

Overthought. It's a clothing dryer. Too many settings. It's brand new and I'm struggling to get the heat on. The gas is on and I reset the power. Piece of garbage. I shouldn't have to overthink thing. It cost way too much for this to happen, very disappointed!

Great dryer, until the drum cracked

The dryer worked perfectly well for about 2.5-3 years, until we started to notice the dryer becoming more noisy. Turns out the drum was cracked and flexing on each rotation. Disappointing.

Drum Broken in 23 months

Initial drum broke right at about 23 months old. Other than that it worked great.

Great appliance

Love the dryer. Dries quickly without wrinkles. Very quiet. Would highly recommend this product. Has any setting you could possibly want.

Good one

A well designed optimal capacity dryer with energy saving equipment. The features are quite well planned, good enough for a house hold use. The noise is quite optimal and hence no issue. The performance which is critical for a dryer has passed the test by drying the mixed load with its preset controls. Overall well designed dryer

Bad filter system

I am a mechanical engineer. I am currently in Boston to visit my son (3 months). GE engineers do not know how to make a filter in a dryer. It is very wrong to set up a system that will cause problems.
